We are Kersten, a family business since 1969. Internationally operating wholesalers in trendy home accessories. What sets us apart from everyone else? We have an eye for trends, we do our own designing, we are great at sourcing and buying and we keep products in stock. But more than anything, it's because we are one big family.
Relationships that go back many years, both on the purchasing and the customer side, are nothing unusual for us. But we don’t take anything for granted. We do everything we can to maintain close connections with suppliers and customers.
We know the market, our customers and their requirements. Understanding their situation and providing input is second nature to us. It's just what we do. Some people might call it personal attention, but it’s what we call ‘normal’. Because only by working together, by understanding each other's formulas, each other's challenges, can we be successful.
Many years of experience - decades, in fact. Strong ties to our suppliers. Our own warehouse with lots of stock. A well-oiled supply chain and transport processes. All that translates into faster deliveries right to your shop. Not always the case in today's market! For us it's just what we do. We set higher targets. We help our customers create the perfect experience in their own shops. And most importantly, we do it together, from supplying product photography for your online store to providing input about styling. We’ll help with everything, we’re always there for you. What started way back when with some simple picture frames has grown into a comprehensive collection of more than 9,000 home decoration items. Presented in our 1200m2 showroom, in retail stores, and for sale in our online store. In no fewer than eighteen themed product lines for each and every taste. From contemporary classic to super hip and trendy. Our family business has proudly grown into one of the largest, trendsetting international suppliers in home accessories for B2B. We get our inspiration from all corners of the globe. With our keen eye for trends, a sense for all things beautiful and our own creativity in product development we are able to compile distinctive collections every six months; in every design taste, responding to the trends for the next season.
At Kersten we’re aware of our impact on the world. We purchase and travel all over the world and we want to do something to offset the effects of doing that. To start with, we aim to have energy-neutral premises. Secondly, we do everything we can to limit emissions of polluted air. Thirdly, we derive our energy from renewable sources wherever possible. And last but not least: the people from around the world who produce our beautiful items must be able to do so under favourable working conditions. That is extremely important to us.
